I was at the zoo for hours this weekend, the better part of that day I spent at the insectarium and found these cool little critters:



Ctenomorpha marginipennis in the ummm, flesh. Highlighted the little thing thing because it was hiding extremely well.

Hens are dropping dead on a free-range farm because hot-air balloons and low-flying aircraft are causing their eggs to explode inside them, it has been claimed.

I realise this phenomenon doesn't happen because of strictly natural causes, but it certainly is wtf, as well as interesting. I wonder what the chickens are thinking.

Check this out... an HIV infected leukemia patient is HIV virus free for over 600 days... almost two years and counting... after his bone marrow transplant.
