Saccharine disposition!

American Beauty

Or, rather, American beautyberry, Callicarpa americana.

A member of the verbena family (Verbenaceae), C. americana is a medium-sized shrub that typically is only a meter or two in height. It's identified most often by its vibrant purple berries:
